We Love Makeovers!

And just for fun (and to continue our classic movie theme this week), let’s take a look at some of our favorite movie makeovers!

Let’s start with Tai‘s Beverly Hills makeover in Clueless, which perfectly illustrates the power of a great color and well-maintained curls.  Look at how happy Tai is when she’s finished!  That’s the OMG-I-LOOK-AMAZING! face there on the left.  We love making people feel that way!

In Sabrina, Julia Ormond taught us the importance of a good cut (and a pair of contact lenses).  My favorite part of the movie is always her great unveil after she returns home from Paris- she looks so chic and elegant, it always makes me gasp, clap my hands together and scream, Brava, darling, Brava!   (Note: my second favorite part of the movie is when Greg Kinnear sits on the wine glasses in his pocket.  Ouch!)

And finally, Anne Hathaway as Andrea Sachs in The Devil Wears Prada.  Ladies, never underestimate the power of thoughtful accent layers and red lipstick! Not to mention access to Vogue’s stockpile of designer wares…
