Girl of Our Dreams: Natalie Joos

October 16, 2012

When I’m thumbing through a stack of glossies or clicking through style news, I sometimes feel that fashion is too, well, fashiony.  It’s a little too serious and sometimes too predictable.  And when it’s not predictable, it sometimes comes off too calculated.  When I begin to feel stuck in a box of style same-ness, I like to check in on casting agent and fashion consultant Natalie Joos.

Joos, who originates from Belgium but now lives in New York, reminds us that fashion is fun, that style is as much about how you carry yourself as it is what you’re wearing, and that a smile is always a great accessory.  If you’re not familiar with her blog Tales Of Endearment, I recommend adding it to your blog roster so you can benefit from her creative eye and wittily written posts.

With the weather getting cooler and my winter wardrobe still not completely organized (will it ever be?) I’m excited to see what Natalie, an expert clothes-wearer, will be sporting as she keeps the cold away.  Until then, let’s just ogle these wonderful photos and that chunky headband braid.
